Transfer Seminars, College Fair at GCC in October, November

Gateway Community College (GCC) will host two transfer seminars and a College Fair at its Long Wharf campus at 60 Sargent Drive over the next six weeks.

The transfer seminars will be held Tuesday, Oct. 25, and Wednesday, Nov. 30 in room 160 and will feature representatives from Southern, Central, Eastern and Western Connecticut State Universities, the University of New Haven and Charter Oak State College. The Oct. 25 event will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Nov. 30 event will be held from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The first hour of each seminar is open to all students interested in learning more about how to transfer to the participating four-year institutions, and the remaining time is by appointment only. To make an appointment, visit the GCC Counseling Office in room 113 on the Long Wharf campus or call the Counseling Office at 203-285-2090.

The College Fair will be held Tuesday, Nov. 15, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the cafeteria on the Long Wharf campus. It is open to all students and will feature representatives from more than 25 public and private universities.
