President Ojakian and Commissioner Connolly Lead Veteran Roundtable at GCC
CSCU President Mark Ojakian and Connecticut Commissioner of Veteran's Affairs Sean Connolly held a November 15 roundtable discussion at GCC on the current state of Veteran's services.

President Ojakian and Commissioner Connolly to ured the Gateway Community College Veteran’s Oasis, where they met several student veterans before convening the roundtable discussion in the college’s Curran Community Center.

Veteran’s Affairs staff from several Connecticut state colleges and universities were in attendance, along with dozens of students who are veterans, to offer comments and suggestions for how the state colleges might make improvements in connecting veterans to available services.

Gateway Community College provides high quality services to Veteran students. The Veteran Services office serves as the point of contact for all Veteran students who are connected to both internal and external resources that help make the college experience successful.
