VP of Squarespace Speaks at GCC Small Business Center

Andrew Bartholomew, Vice-President of Squarespace, will speak at the Gateway Community College Small Business  Center at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26.

A graduate of Yale University (Psychology), Mr. Bartholomew is responsible for developing the analytical frameworks that shape the company’s business. Since joining Squarespace, he has grown the division into a team that covers everything from business strategy and customer insights to analytics and data science. Prior to Squarespace, Andrew was with the New York County District Attorney's Office where he worked on data-driven initiatives for crime fighting, conducted research on jury selection, assisted in the prosecution of a ring of body-part thieves in Philadelphia, and collected ticks for a nationwide study of Lyme disease.

Squarespace provides creative tools to build and manage websites to over 2 million people. Square Space is based in NYC, employs 530 and has raised $78.5 million to date at a valuation of $1 billion with revenue exceeding $100 million.  For more than a decade, Squarespace empowered millions of people, from individuals to local artists to entrepreneurs, assisting some of the world’s most iconic businesses to take control of their online presence.

Networking begins at 6:00 p.m. and the talk begins at 7:00 p.m. 

This event is free and open to the public. The Gateway Community College Small Business Center is located in the South Building at 20 Church Street, New Haven. Networking and pre-talk to take place in S106 and Mr. Bartholomew’s talk in S211.  Parking is validated for the Temple Street garage.
