GCC Students Inducted Into Tau Alpha Pi Honor Society

Nine GCC students were inducted April 25 into the Connecticut Delta Chapter of Tau Alpha Pi National Honor Society, the national honor society for engineering technology. The students inducted were: Imran Ahmed, Mounir Atifi, Ross Brousseau, Mohamed Elaziz, Quentin Hinton III, Mark Marotto, Thomas Martin, Layth Salman and Jordan Yaruss.
The Tau Alpha Pi National Honor Society is devoted to recognizing high standards of scholarship among students in two-year and four-year engineering technology programs throughout the country. Membership in this society is offered to students who have obtained academic excellence within their engineering technology programs.
Officers for 2013-14 were President Dennis Cruz, Vice President Sherril Dellacamera, Secretary John Sembrot and Treasurer Egnon Locoh. The chapter’s advisors are Professor Don Lostritto and Professor Cyprian Ukah.
